I really loved this podcast! I actually first heard about fertility awareness from my husband before we got married. I felt like I was supposed to get on some sort of birth control as most women do pre-marriage and was discouraged after feeling immediate negative effects from 2 different pills. Previously, I was on the pill from a young age due to hormonal acne but got off of it in college since I had family negatively impacted by the pill. I successfully got off of the pill and had gotten my cycle regulated, acne free with diet. I felt like a conquerer! My husband learned from a friend that they were doing the FA method and encouraged me to research it. It’s so FREEING for multiple reasons and got me really educated about my body. It’s also something I look forward to teaching my daughters one day. I feel that sex Ed classes growing up can make women feel dirty and uncomfortable with their bodies. It will be such a gift to teach my children To be comfortable with their female anatomy through sex education that I can offer them through personal experience!
